In addition to her role as a school psychologist, she has been a middle and elementary school classroom teacher and intervention coordinator in schools, and has worked in both state and federal government promoting evidence-based practice and advocating for policy to improve the lives of children. She completed her undergraduate work at Tulane, has a Masters degree from Harvard, and graduated with her doctorate in psychology from LSU. She is licensed to independently practice psychology in the state of Louisiana.
